Basketweaving is the oldest craft of Morocco, with each region being unique in the materials, techniques, and finishes used. A female-led craft, women often weave baskets from home which enables them to earn money while supporting their families. Products include small-to-large storage baskets, trays, mats, and shopping bags all made from sustainable palm fibers. Color and unique designs can be added as well as leather handles and trims.
