about

80% of Moroccan pottery can be found in the regions of Safi, Fes and Meknes. Artisans hand sculpt sun-baked clay before etching them with both modern and traditional patterns and firing them in a kiln. Products include vases, planters, lamp bases, tajines, tabletop items, and unique tiles. Ceramics are often hand-painted by women with led-free paint.
